Key Specifications Model and Make: EOS M290, EOS GmbH, Germany. Technology: Laser Powder Bed Fusion using a 400 W single mode Yb fiber laser, enabling precise deposition down to hundreds of microns in a controlled environment. Materials supported: various grades of stainless steel, titanium alloys, nickel, copper alloys, refractory metals, and custom materials. Applications: aerospace, defense, biomedical, and advanced manufacturing, among others. How to Book Material available for printing: Stainless Steel 316L. Prepare a 3D model of the job in STL format using any CAD software as per your requirements, and email it to the operator in charge to check feasibility. For further queries, contact the faculty coordinator through email. Booking charge: Rs 600, the standard cost to check feasibility of the job. Meet the operator in charge with the STL file to establish feasibility. Once feasibility is confirmed, the actual total cost will be shared based on material consumption, time required, consumable gases, and other factors. After the amount is confirmed, further instructions will be provided to carry out the job. Non IITD users may contact the faculty coordinator or operator in charge for charge details. External users are required to pay 18 percent GST extra.

CNC integrated hybrid metal 3D Printer- MELTIO​

Key Specifications Model and Make: Meltio Engine 1.2 kW combined with HAAS Automation CNC. Laser system: six 200 W diode lasers with coaxial wire feed. Print volume: 950*500*600 mm. Wire diameter: 0.8 to 1.2 mm. Materials: Mild Steel ER70S, Stainless Steel 316L, 308L, and 17 4 PH, Tool Steel H11, Titanium alloy 64, Inconel 625 and 718, with custom alloys available on request.
